HANDIQ FAQ

Straight answers about recording, reads, and analysis.

The essentials of how HandIQ records poker hands free, uses opponent information, and stays honest when a player read is not available.

Is the HandIQ poker hand recorder free?

Yes. You can record, save, organize, and revisit poker hands without a subscription. Recording remains free whether or not you request AI analysis.

How many free poker hand analyses do I get?

HandIQ includes up to 3 analysis requests each day with no trial required. HandIQ Pro provides unlimited analysis.

What is exploit-first poker hand analysis?

Exploit-first analysis uses supported information about an opponent's player type and tendencies to identify likely mistakes and explain a practical adjustment. It does not treat every opponent as perfectly balanced.

Is HandIQ a GTO solver?

No. HandIQ is exploit-first, not solver-first. It does not claim exact solver frequencies unless solver data is actually available.

What happens when I do not know the player type?

Leave the player type and tendency as Unknown. HandIQ should not invent a player read or pretend the resulting recommendation is specific to that opponent.

What information can I save with a hand?

You can capture the game type, stakes, positions, stacks, cards, action by street, notes, tags, and multiple player reads, then keep the hand in a searchable library.

Can I ask follow-up questions about an analysis?

Yes. Analysis chat lets you challenge the recommendation, add missing context, or test how a different supported assumption would change the reasoning.

Does HandIQ guarantee better poker results?

No. HandIQ is a study aid, not a gambling service, and AI analysis can make mistakes. Its recommendations are reasoning to evaluate, not guaranteed outcomes.
